Tech & Partners

Good Games has a big, passionate community — and an equally big catalogue. The challenge was turning that scale into clarity: a site that feels confident and modern post-rebrand, but still helps customers actually get to the right product without endless scrolling.

At the same time, Good Games isn’t just “a store”. It’s a broader ecosystem — including shopping, singles, events, and support — that needed to feel connected, not fragmented. We brought it all together with a tab-style navigation system that lets users jump between key parts of the Good Games universe without losing their bearings.

Results & Outcomes

  • Rebrand brought to life

A clean, modern UI that carries the new brand identity through every touchpoint — from navigation to collection discovery to product pages.

  • Smarter board game discovery

We built a dedicated board game finder experience — allowing shoppers to search by number of players, mechanic, and complexity, so the site can match the vibe of game night, not just a keyword.

  • One ecosystem, one experience

We merged the broader Good Games network through a tabbed navigation model that connects the core store with key destinations like TCG Singles and Events — creating a more seamless (and more “Good Games”) journey.

[Prosper Digital’s] Shopify expertise, creative insight, and attention to detail have made a huge impact. Communication is clear, deadlines are met, and they consistently go above and beyond. Couldn’t recommend them more.

Frequently Asked Questions

What was the main objective of the project?

To design and build a new Shopify website that fully reflects Good Games’ rebrand, while improving discovery and connecting the wider Good Games ecosystem into one intuitive experience.

How did you improve product discovery for board games?

By building a guided board game search experience that helps users filter by the things that actually matter when choosing a game — player count, mechanics, and difficulty.

What makes this build different to a typical Shopify theme refresh?

This wasn’t just a reskin. The site needed to carry a new brand and solve for scale — meaning we focused on navigation architecture, discovery patterns, and ecosystem cohesion, not just visuals.

Good Games launches a rebrand-ready Shopify site with a custom board game finder and a unified ecosystem navigation experience.

Good Games partnered with Prosper Digital to design and develop a new site aligned to their recent rebrand — combining elevated UX and a clearer information architecture with genuinely useful functionality for shoppers. Alongside the new visual direction, we introduced a custom board game search experience to help customers find their next favourite game by player count, mechanics, and complexity.

To bring the broader Good Games universe together, we implemented a tab-style navigation system that connects key destinations (including the main store, TCG Singles, and Events) into one cohesive journey — reducing fragmentation and making the entire ecosystem feel easier to explore.
